Meeting with Mastercard management

The management of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with Mastercard, held the second meeting of the coordination committee established under the joint Memorandum of Understanding.

During the meeting, the parties discussed further steps in the proposed areas such as “Cybersecurity”, “Digital infrastructure and digital payments” and “Support for small and medium-sized businesses”.

In particular, in these areas, it was decided to organize joint events with experts from the Central Bank, Mastercard and commercial banks on improving legislation, and practical seminars on training and introducing more convenient services for residents and entrepreneurs.
