On November 17 of this year, the management of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a bilateral meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Japan Tokiko Shimizu in Tokyo, Japan.
At the meeting, detailed information was provided on reforms implemented in the country in the last seven years, macroeconomic situation, monetary policy, as well as the process of transformation and privatization of state banks.
At the end of the dialogue, they agreed to establish permanent cooperation between the two Central Banks, to conduct joint research on new financial instruments and risks, and to provide technical assistance for improving the skills of employees.
