Tasks and Functions
The main tasks and functions of the department:

organization and streamlining of cash circulation in the country, the development of procedures for the implementation of cash operations in banks by analyzing and monitoring the turnover of cash through the cash desks of banks;

forecasting the economy's need for cash, carrying out work related to the formation of reserve funds of the Central Bank to meet the needs of the regions in cash and its disposal.

monitoring the issuance of pensions, benefits, wages and other social payments, providing ATMs with cash;

production of designs and samples of banknotes and coins, their release into circulation, including the organization of work related to the removal of old and unusable banknotes and coins from circulation, as well as their destruction;

control and streamlining of work on the transportation and collection of cash and other valuables;
