The Managing Director of the IMF, Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, and Central Bank Governor Mamarizo Nurmuratov will participate in a conversation with the youth at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan, starting at 9:00 am (Uzbekistan Local Time) on June 7, 2023. The discussion will provide an opportunity for an informal dialogue on the prospects and challenges facing Uzbekistan’s and the region’s economy.
The live audience will include young employees and interns of the CBU. Mr. Timur Ishmetov, First Deputy Advisor to the President of Uzbekistan and former Minister of Finance, will moderate the discussion.
The event will be livestreamed by the CBU and IMF. The streaming link will be available through the CBU’s and theIMF’s social media accounts.
