Tasks and functions of the department:

Submitting proposals to the Board and the Banking Supervision Committee of the Central Bank on licensing the activities of banks, microcredit organizations, pawnshops, payment organizations, operators of payment systems, currency exchanges, credit bureaus;
making proposals to the Banking Supervision Committee of the Central Bank on the following issues:
on the issues of agreeing on the candidacy of persons nominated for members of the supervisory board and the board, as well as for the position of key personnel of the bank, prior to their assumption of office;
on the registration of statutes of banks and credit bureaus, as well as amendments and additions to them;
on issues of issuing permissive documents in the field of banking activities;
maintaining registers of issued licenses, as well as a register of organizations for mortgage refinancing;
registration of the rules for the issue and circulation of certificates of deposit of banks, as well as amendments and additions to them.
