Coin of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan
in denomination of 10 sum of specimen of 1997
The coin in denomination 10 sum were made of steel and plated with nickel (of white colour).
On the obverse of the coins in the center there is depicted the denomination of the coin by the numeral, at the bottom it is written "SO’M" in block letters of the same size, and below them there are the numerals "1997", indicating the year of issue. On the right and left sides of the coins, along its edges, an ornament is placed, which begins with a leaf of cotton and then one after another there are four repetitive opened bolls of cotton.
At the outer circle of the front side of the coins there are embossed dots, repeating circle of the coins.
On the reverse side of the coins (reverse) the Coat of the Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan is depicted, around which, on the top there are 12 stars along the outer edge of the coins and at the bottom of the circle the text "ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ" is written in block letters of the same size.
Side of the coins (drove) is smooth.
The diameter of the coin 10 so’m is 24.10 mm, thickness 1.6 mm, weight 4.75g.
