Issues of further development of the payment services market were discussed with Mastercard representatives

The Central Bank hosted another meeting with the  representatives of Mastercard.

The meeting discussed the current state of cooperation, as well as the preliminary results of a research project conducted within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation. In particular, it was noted that in order to further develop the payment services market and to increase the share of non-cash payments, proposals have been developed in 8 priority areas.

At the next stage of the project, the parties agreed to continue practical work in priority areas such as cybersecurity, digital payments, financial literacy and payment infrastructure.
