On September 25 – October 6 of this year, the expert of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) conducted a mission at the Central Bank on "Establishing the Foundations for the Risk-based Internal Auditing".
At the meeting, it was noted that the Central Bank's efforts to implement risk-oriented internal auditing as part of technical assistance are bearing positive results.
Also, the measures to be implemented in the direction of the improving business process analysis and risk evaluation as well as internal audit staff training were discussed.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that the recommendations presented by the international expert are of great importance in the Central Bank's activities, and both parties stated that they will continue cooperation in the direction of improving the Central bank’s internal audit system.
