The management of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated in the XI Congress of Financiers of Kazakhstan

On November 15, the leadership of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the XI Congress of financiers of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency of Kazakhstan, organized by the National Bank of Kazakhstan in Almaty.

During the event, a panel discussions were held on the topic of "Conducting monetary and credit policy in current conditions" with the participation of heads of a number of foreign central banks.

Also during the visit, bilateral meetings were held with the Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov, with the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov, as well as a member of the board of the Swiss National Bank Attilio Zanetti, during which ways to further strengthen cooperation were discussed, in particular the issues of holding joint events on the exchange of experience between employees of central banks.

The parameters of a memorandum of cooperation in the field of consolidated banking supervision and AML/CFT have been agreed upon with the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
