A meeting was held between the management of the Central Bank and representatives of the Korean Deposit Insurance Corporation

At the event, representatives of the Corporation provided detailed information about the mechanisms and legal framework for protecting the rights of depositors in South Korea.

In turn, foreign partners were informed by representatives of the Central Bank about the system of ensuring the protection of deposits in the Republic, in particular, the Fund of Guarantee Citizens’ Deposits in Banks, the obligations of banks to the Fund and the procedure for paying fees for deposits of citizens in banks.

In addition, representatives of the delegation were given information about the main aspects of the draft law "on Guarantees for the Protection of Deposits in Banks" in the new edition.
