The issue of effective organization of accounting work in banks was discussed

A roundtable discussion was held at the Central Bank of Uzbekistan with the participation of deputy chairmen, chief accountants, and heads of operational units of state-owned commercial banks. The aim of the event was to exchange experiences on the effective organization and management of accounting in the commercial banks.

During the event, a number of issues were discussed, including the organization of the accounting apparatus, automation (digitalization) of the process of preliminary, current, and final control of accounting operations, as well as transformation and improvement of the process of collection and storage of daily accounting and cash documents. Moreover, presentations on best practices in this area were also presented by banks.

Since this roundtable provided participants with the opportunity to exchange experiences and find solutions to practical issues through joint discussions, the parties agreed to hold regular roundtable discussions.
