In cooperation with the audit company “Pricewaterhousecoopers”, the Central Bank organized a seminar on "Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) in organizations and ESG regulation in the world".
Responsible employees from the Central Bank and commercial banks participated in the seminar.
During the event, experts discussed the most pressing issues in the field of environmental, social, and corporate governance, as well as its key role and significance in the activities of commercial banks and other financial organizations. Detailed explanations were also provided on topics such as important "drivers" of sustainable development, the global role of ESG controls, the advantages of implementing international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and green financing.
The seminar was conducted in an interactive format, with a focus on discussing current issues in the field of ESG.
