Meeting with the representatives of the Italian Export Credit Agency SACE

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting with the representatives of the Italian export credit agency SACE.

During the meeting, issues related to the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan, their effects and changes in the country's economic sector were discussed. In particular, the representatives of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan gave a detailed overview of the macroeconomic situation in the country, changes in the banking sector, namely the processes of transformation and privatization of commercial banks, and also shared the inflation forecasts for the near future.

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for potential cooperation to enhance country's investment attractiveness and develop the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
