International reserves of the Republic of Uzbekistan (as of April 1st, 2020)

In accordance with the Law “On the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, one of the main tasks of the Central Bank is to manage, store and keep record of international reserves of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The calculation of international reserves is conducted in compliance with the standards of the International Monetary Fund. International reserves consist of foreign currency reserves and monetary gold.
In order to manage the international reserves efficiently, the Central Bank separately calculates and keeps the record of both gross and net international reserves.
