The Central Bank is implementing artificial intelligence solutions within the framework of AI Challenge

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan has entered the stage of transforming innovative ideas put forward within the framework of the AI Challenge (Gov Challenge: AI Connect) hackathon into real projects. Following the event, memorandums of cooperation were signed with the startups "Global Move" and "Balcom Soft."

This initiative is aimed at accelerating the digitalization of the banking system, automating internal processes, and improving the quality of customer service, and is being implemented in accordance with Presidential Decree No. UP-189.

The first direction of the solutions selected within the framework of AI Challenge is the development and integration into the banking system of a national Speech-to-Text (STT) model, which works in the Uzbek language and can accurately understand various dialects and banking terminology.
