The Central Bank hosted a seminar on the topic “Organization of modern microfinance services in credit institutions and further increasing the attractiveness of the services provided to entrepreneurs.”
International financial organizations such as Asian Development Bank (ADB), International Finance Corporation (IFC), KfW International Organization, National Associations of Banks and National Association of Microfinance Institutions, as well as official heads of commercial banks and microfinance organizations participated at the seminar.
During the seminar, parties exchanged views regarding successful projects in the microfinance market and the opportunities created for microfinance organizations. Examples of foreign experience in this area were given, and the possibilities of financing the microfinance market using foreign resources were discussed.
In addition, the head of the National Association of Microfinance Institutions a presentation. It was noted that the association will support new participants in the microfinance market, help to acquire loans, and provide preliminary explanations and instructions to those who wish to open a microfinance organization.
