A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
The Memorandum is aimed at developing mutual cooperation between the parties in the areas of implementing International Financial Reporting Standards, professional development of employees, as well as providing opportunities to obtain internationally recognized professional qualifications.
Within the framework of this Memorandum, the parties intend to develop effective bilateral cooperation, including the organization of exchange of experience and information in order to support the Central Bank’s strategic reforms, enhance the transparency and financial stability of the banking system, facilitate the implementation of IFRS, and strengthen the professional capacity of banking sector specialists.
