Uzbekistan’s factoring services market continued to expand in the first quarter of 2026.
During Q1 of 2026 credit institutions provided UZS 2.3 trillion in factoring services during the reporting period - a 75% increase compared with the same period last year.
Commercial banks were the main providers, accounting for 94% of total factoring services, while microfinance organizations contributed 6%.
53% of total factoring services were provided through electronic platforms. Of this amount, UZS 627 billion, or 52%, was carried out through Ozplanet, while UZS 571 billion, or 48%, was provided through Finmakon.
International factoring also expanded significantly. Commercial banks provided international factoring services equivalent to UZS 190 billion, which is 41 times higher than in Q1 2025. These services were mainly linked to foreign trade operations with the United Arab Emirates and Russia, followed by Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye and other partner countries.
