From June 22 to 26, 2026, a professional development course was held at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, aimed at developing employees' skills in the effective use of artificial intelligence technologies in their daily work activities. A total of 150 employees from the central office and regional main departments participated in the five-day training program.
The course was organized in cooperation with the “Center for the Development of Digital Education” under the Ministry of Digital Technologies.
The curriculum is practically oriented and consists of 15 modules, covering both theoretical knowledge and practical training. Participants learned about the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs), as well as their potential and limitations in the banking sector.
During the course, special attention was paid to the following topics: identifying the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in banking processes; data privacy, compliance and risk management; prompt engineering at a professional level; Working with ChatGPT and Claude platforms; no-code automation tools; as well as designing artificial intelligence agents.
During the training process, employees worked on real banking cases and developed AI-based solution concepts for their banking processes in groups.
This initiative is part of the ongoing work to enhance the digital competencies of Central Bank employees and the gradual introduction of modern technologies into banking practice. Skills in the safe and responsible use of artificial intelligence tools serve to increase labor efficiency and improve internal processes.
