From 6 to 10 July 2026, the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a seminar-training dedicated to the implementation of a risk-based supervisory system for the protection of financial services consumers' rights.
The seminar-training was organized with the participation of international expert Armenui Mkrtchyan, engaged with the support of the Asian Development Bank. The event provided an opportunity to exchange views on international experience, advanced approaches, and practical recommendations in this field.
During the seminar, participants discussed approaches to establishing a risk-based supervisory system in the financial services market. Practical issues related to the assessment and identification of risks in the field of consumer protection were also considered.
The seminar served as an important practical basis for studying international experience, strengthening knowledge and skills, and developing methodological guidance for the implementation of a risk-based supervisory system. To ensure the full implementation of the risk-based supervisory system for the protection of financial services consumers' rights, cooperation with the international expert is planned to continue in the coming years.
