From 13 to 24 July 2026, the Compliance Control Service of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan conducted anti-corruption monitoring and compliance activities in the Central Bank's Main Departments in Navoi, Bukhara, Khorezm regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
During the monitoring activities, compliance with the requirements of the Central Bank's internal regulatory documents on anti-corruption was reviewed, and the current implementation status within the regional main departments was analyzed.
In addition, training seminars were organized for employees focusing on anti-corruption measures, corruption prevention, and the prevention of conflicts of interest. Participants received detailed explanations of internal procedures, employees' responsibilities, and mechanisms for the timely identification and mitigation of corruption risks.
As part of the monitoring process, employees' knowledge of the Central Bank's internal anti-corruption regulations was assessed through testing. Anonymous surveys were also conducted to identify the causes and conditions that may give rise to corruption risks and conflicts of interest, as well as to develop proposals for their elimination.
Based on the results of the monitoring activities, relevant recommendations were provided, and necessary measures were identified to further strengthen the anti-corruption framework, improve the effectiveness of internal control mechanisms, and reduce corruption risks.
Similar monitoring and compliance activities will be carried out in all regional main departments of the Central Bank and its subordinate organizations on a phased basis.
