Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abrorxuja Turdaliyev held a personal reception for individuals and representatives of legal entities. During the reception, oral appeals from citizens and entrepreneurs concerning the operation of the banking system were heard individually, with the participation of the heads of the relevant commercial banks.
The Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank placed particular emphasis on the priority tasks assigned to banks — providing financial support to individuals and legal entities, creating favourable conditions for them, delivering high-quality banking services, and reviewing appeals in a timely manner in accordance with the requirements of current legislation and regulatory acts.
Among the issues raised during the reception were appeals such as the suspension of interest and penalties being charged on preferential loans, as well as requests for practical assistance in obtaining documents related to pledged property and court proceedings. For each appeal, specific instructions were given to the relevant commercial banks, tasking them with reviewing the appeals in accordance with current legislation and reporting the results to the Central Bank within the established deadline.
Personal receptions will continue on a regular basis with the aim of further improving the quality of customer service within the banking system, as well as ensuring the timely and high-quality resolution of appeals from citizens and entrepreneurs in accordance with the requirements of the law.
