Department responsibilities:

Analyze credit, liquidity, market, operational, and corporate governance risks in the banking system and assess their impact on financial stability;
- Develop and continuously monitor the banking system’s Early Warning Indicators (EWIs);
- Establish a unified methodology and risk monitoring indicators, and conduct comparative analysis (benchmarking) of banks’ activities;
- Prepare analytical reports and recommendations on identified risks and contribute to the enhancement of the risk management framework in line with international standards.
Department functions:

Conduct horizontal and comparative analyses, stress testing, and scenario analysis;
- Identify systemic risks and develop and monitor Early Warning Indicators (EWIs);
- Prepare analytical reports, recommendations, and well-founded proposals to strengthen risk management and prudential supervision;
- Conduct targeted on-site reviews, where necessary, and provide the Central Bank’s management with analytical information on systemic risks and proposed mitigation measures.
