Tasks and Functions
Main Tasks of the Department:

To compile, maintain, and publish monetary, financial, and external sector statistics;

To prepare the Central Bank's Annual Report;
- To develop the medium-term strategy for the advancement of the Central Bank's statistical activities in line with its mandate;
Main Functions of the Department:

To compile and disseminate periodic analytical reports and publications on monetary, financial, and external sector statistics;

To improve the survey methodologies used in the compilation of monetary, financial, and external sector statistics;

To prepare and disseminate the Central Bank's Statistical Bulletin;

To conduct studies and exchange experience with international organizations and foreign central banks on the implementation of statistical processes;

To participate in the development of methodologies for monetary, financial, and external sector statistics in accordance with international standards and to continuously align statistical practices with updated international standards.

To improve the practices for disseminating the Central Bank's statistical data.
