Tasks and Functions

Division tasks:

• Coordination of bank resolution processes, including voluntary and compulsory liquidation of banks;

• organization of valuation activities as part of bank resolution procedures;

• drafting of regulatory legal acts on bank resolution and liquidation.

Division functions:

• Development of resolution plans for systemically important banks;

• drafting of regulatory legal acts and other regulatory documents on bank insolvency;

• establishment of a roster of pre-qualified valuers and special administrators;

• coordination of the selection and engagement of external organizations to support bank resolution procedures, including valuation activities;

• organization and implementation of bank resolution procedures, including the application of resolution tools;

• coordination of voluntary and compulsory bank liquidation procedures;

• monitoring the activities of the liquidator (liquidation commission) during voluntary and compulsory liquidation of banks;

• drafting of regulatory legal acts governing bank insolvency (bankruptcy).
