The main tasks of the Department are:- Organization of ensuring the rule of law and legality in the law enforcement activities of the Central Bank;
- Exercising control over the compliance of draft regulatory legal acts and other documents developed (adopted) by the Central Bank with the law;
- Enhancing the legal culture and legal literacy of Central Bank employees, and participating in conveying the essence and significance of adopted regulatory legal acts to them, including through modern information and communication technologies;
- conducting contractual, legal, and claim-based proceedings, and ensuring the reliable protection of the property and other interests of the Central Bank.
Main functions of the Department:
- Conducts an expert examination of draft orders, orders, decisions of the Board of the Central Bank, contracts, and other legal documents submitted to the management of the Central Bank for compliance with legislation and, in the absence of comments or proposals, signs them;
- Develops or participates in the development of draft regulatory legal acts on issues within the competence of the Central Bank;
- conducts litigation on disputes arising from contractual relations;
- in the event of disputes with state bodies and organizations, as well as citizens, independently or jointly with other structural units, takes measures for their pre-trial resolution;
- monitors compliance with the established procedure for the conclusion, execution, amendment, and termination of contracts.
