On February 14, 2026, the winners of the national competition “Gender Equality Activist” were awarded during a ceremonial event held at the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan was recognized as the winner in the nomination “Most Active Republican Organization in Ensuring Gender Equality.” The Bank received special recognition for its initiatives aimed at expanding women’s participation in the financial sector and strengthening their role in society.
Currently, more than 200 women are employed at the Central Bank, about 27 of whom hold managerial positions. These figures clearly demonstrate the development of an inclusive work environment within the organization, support for women’s potential, and the creation of equal opportunities for professional growth.
