The Central Bank management held a meeting with country managers of international financial organizations (World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Finance Corporation and Islamic Development Bank).
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of collaboration between the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and international financial institutions, as well as explored opportunities for expanding cooperation on the Central Bank's new initiatives planned for this year.
It was specifically emphasized that the recommendations and technical support provided by international financial institutions are crucial not only for enhancing the Central Bank's core functions but also for promoting financial inclusion among the population and SMEs. Additionally, they play a key role in advancing the financial market through the adoption of international best practices and collaborative research initiatives.
