The Central Bank management held a meeting with the delegation of Shinhan Bank, led by Head of Global Business Promotion Division Mr. Kim Jihyung.
During the meeting, the representatives of Shinhan Bank provided an overview of the bank's activities in recent еars and shared their further plans for expanding and strengthening its position in the banking market of Uzbekistan in the near future.
In turn, the CBU management explained the procedures for establishing banking institutions in the country, along with the existing legislative requirements. Furthermore, the parties discussed the possibilities for business development in the local market through the privatization of state-owned banks.
