A meeting with the delegation of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Uzbekistan was held at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for expanding mutual cooperation aimed at increasing digital inclusivity and ensuring broader access to financial services for women in rural areas of Uzbekistan. Special attention was given to the use of multiple channels to enhance financial accessibility.
The participants explored opportunities for conducting sociological research to identify behavioral factors affecting financial accessibility, involving international experts.
The meeting concluded with an agreement on implementing pilot projects to improve financial literacy in several regions of the country, as well as on integrating financial education into UNDP’s ongoing initiatives.
