A meeting was held at the Central Bank with the leadership of Germany's Development Bank (KfW) and its subsidiary companies.
During the meeting, discussions focused on expanding financial inclusion in Uzbekistan, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and ongoing reforms in the banking sector.
During the discussion, the Central Bank emphasized that work is underway to improve existing infrastructure in cooperation with banks in order to create more favorable opportunities for SMEs. Additionally, the Central Bank expressed its readiness to coordinate efforts with international financial institutions in supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
At the end of the meeting, both parties agreed to continue dialogue aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation and supporting initiatives to enhance financial inclusion.
