Cooperation in the field of FinTech between the Central Bank and Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) under the Monetary Authority of Singapore

A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Central Bank of Uzbekistan and the Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) under the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

This Memorandum lays the solid foundation for a comprehensive program aimed at developing the FinTech ecosystem in Uzbekistan, supporting the digital economy, and adopting global best practices through the establishment of bilateral cooperation.

The areas of cooperation will include the following key directions:
- Development of a FinTech sector growth strategy;
- Capacity building and implementation of specialized training programs;
- Support for the FinTech community through hackathons, forums, and innovation initiatives;
- Introduction of digital platforms to promote venture financing, startup growth, and the development of the green economy.
