The Central Bank and the National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) of the People's Republic of China signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of banking supervision.
This Memorandum establishes a solid foundation for enhancing bilateral cooperation, fostering effective oversight of the banking sector, facilitating the exchange of information in areas such as anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing, as well as support the activity of Chinese banks in the financial market of Uzbekistan.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, the parties agreed to hold mutual consultations, exchange experience in the fields of financial and banking supervision and organize initiatives aimed at strengthening regulatory cooperation.
