Finlit.uz – the Central Bank’s Financial Literacy Information and Educational Project Turns 5
Since 2020, the Central Bank has been running the information and educational website Finlit.uz and its social media pages to promote financial literacy among the population.
Over the years, this platform has served as a reliable source of knowledge for students and teachers, volunteer university students, women in remote areas and families of migrants, young entrepreneurs, as well as potential users of banking services.
In recent years, the Central Bank has been implementing 73 projects aimed at improving financial knowledge and skills among the population and supporting informed decision-making. These efforts include:

Distribution of workbooks containing textbooks and interactive assignments to 100 schools, 160 teachers, and 7,200 students, with special classes conducted throughout the academic year.

Launch of a financial literacy course for non-economics universities in 32 institutions, where teachers were specially trained and appointed as ambassadors.

Regular roundtable discussions held in 71 remote districts for targeted groups.

Educational events regularly organized at the Republican Children's Library, the Alisher Navoi National Library, and 112 neighborhood libraries across Tashkent city.

Around 10 media projects launched.

Nearly 5,000 educational publications distributed.

Production of 1 music video, 2 TV series, and 60 podcast episodes.
Every year, international educational campaigns such as Global Money Week and World Savings Day are organized.
In implementing these projects, the Central Bank works closely with international organizations, ministries and agencies, commercial banks, payment institutions, and 15 higher education institutions with economic profiles.
