A regional seminar on Financial Programming and Policy has commenced in Tashkent. The event is organized with the support of the Regional Capacity Development Center for the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia (CCAMTAC) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), in cooperation with the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The seminar brings together representatives of key macroeconomic institutions, including the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the State Committee on Statistics of Uzbekistan. The program focuses on analyzing macroeconomic policy, financial programming, and the effective use of statistical data in forecasting and planning.
This initiative is aimed at strengthening the analytical capacity of national institutions, enhancing the professional expertise of specialists, and equipping them with practical policy analysis tools to assess economic adjustment under various scenarios.
