The Central Bank organized a roundtable discussion for market participants via the "Zoom" platform on the procedure for changing the activities of microfinance organizations to the activities of a microfinance bank. The meeting was attended by more than 100 participants, including representatives of the Asian Development Bank, founders and executive directors of microfinance organizations.
At the meeting, the Central Bank provided information on the procedure for changing the activities of microfinance organizations to the activities of a microfinance bank and the legislative framework, in particular, the requirements established for regulating the activities of a microfinance bank, the procedures for establishing microfinance banks, and the stages of obtaining a license.
At the end of the event, it was agreed that such practical seminars will be organized thematically in the future based on the proposals of market participants.
