In accordance with the resolution of the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 11, 2025, “On the Transformation of the Activities of the Joint-Stock Company ‘Central Securities Depository,’” a new organizational structure of the company as well as a roadmap for 2026–2027 were approved.
The resolution provides for the development of the activities of the Central Securities Depository, including accelerating the digital transformation process, aligning the quality of services provided to foreign and domestic investors with international standards, and improving the provision of post-trading services in the securities market.
In this regard, a Project Office for transformation issues was established within the company, along with the introduction of the position of First Deputy Chief Executive Officer responsible for this area.
Valiyev Sanjar Shavkatovich was appointed as First Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Central Securities Depository.
Prior to this appointment, S. Valiyev served as Director of the International Reserves Management Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In particular, he contributed to making primary investments in foreign government securities to diversify the structure of international reserves, as well as to improving reserve management practices based on advanced international experience. Throughout his professional career, he has also cooperated closely with foreign central banks, international financial institutions, and leading global banks.
