On February 5 of this year, the Central Bank and “Yangi O‘zbekiston” University signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing long-term cooperation in education and scientific research.
Within the framework of the Memorandum, agreements were reached in the following areas:

conducting joint research projects and preparing co-authored academic publications on topics of mutual interest;

organizing joint scientific-practical and scientific-methodological conferences, forums, and seminars;

aligning the research work of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students studying economics, mathematics, and other relevant fields at the university with topics relevant to the Central Bank’s activities, as well as creating opportunities for them to undertake internships at the Central Bank;

providing specialized training courses at the university, commissioned by the Central Bank, for its employees in research methods, data science, macroeconomics, and microeconomics.
This Memorandum will contribute to strengthening the integration of science and practice, training qualified specialists, and advancing modern economic research.
