A Memorandum has been signed between the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Bank of Armenia.
The Memorandum is aimed at deepening bilateral relations between the Central Banks in the areas of monetary policy, payment systems, financial technologies, project and data management, including SupTech and RegTech, as well as the supervision of banks and non-bank credit institutions.
Through this memorandum, central banks seek to facilitate professional dialogue, organize joint meetings, trainings, seminars, and study visits, and encourage the sharing of knowledge and best practices. At the same time, it sets clear principles for information exchange, ensuring that cooperation is carried out legally, effectively, and with strict respect for confidentiality.
