About the Cybersecurity Center “CERT-CBU” of the Central Bank
The Cybersecurity Center “CERT-CBU” of the Central Bank was founded in accordance with the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan in July 2021.
The Cybersecurity Center “CERT-CBU” of the Central Bank performs the following tasks to ensure cybersecurity in the activities of payment system operators, credit and payment organizations.
► development of requirements for the identification and formation of a register of critical information infrastructure objects, as well as ensuring their cybersecurity;
► conducting an examination of information systems and resources, as well as critical information infrastructure objects for compliance with cybersecurity requirements;
► monitoring the state of cybersecurity at informatization facilities and critical information infrastructure facilities, as well as ensuring their smooth operation;
► conducting an information security audit and certification of informatization objects obtaining the appropriate permission of the authorized body;
► monitoring the elimination of the consequences of cybersecurity incidents that occurred in information systems and resources;
► establishing cooperation with the authorized body in the field of cybersecurity, other law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, as well as international organizations;
► identification of information security and cybersecurity incidents, cybersecurity threats;
► providing guidance on the application of the necessary effective measures to prevent incidents of information security and cybersecurity;
► cooperation with relevant departments of foreign organizations and CERT services for information security and cybersecurity.
