As part of the International Public Assets Management Forum 2026, representatives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the World Bank Group held a meeting to discuss the further development of cooperation in international reserve management.
The Central Bank has cooperated with the World Bank under the Reserve Advisory and Management Partnership (RAMP) since 2020. The parties noted that the partnership extends beyond asset management and contributes to strengthening institutional capacity, facilitating the exchange of expertise and developing the professional skills of reserve management specialists.
The parties considered continuing cooperation under RAMP for a further three years and broadening priority areas of cooperation in international reserve management.
Particular attention was paid to diversifying reserve assets while maintaining safety and liquidity, conducting joint research, and arranging short-term internships and practical training programmes for Central Bank specialists.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue practical cooperation in international reserve management, research and professional capacity-building.
