The Central Bank held an open dialogue with representatives of exporting companies to discuss ways to enhance the country’s export potential, improve export financing mechanisms, and address pressing issues of concern to entrepreneurs.
The meeting was organized as a logical continuation of the tasks set within the framework of the open dialogue held by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan with entrepreneurs, aimed at enhancing the country’s export potential and establishing the “Export Navigator” system.
The Central Bank has launched a targeted engagement system with 2,000 exporting companies, with particular emphasis on supporting the expansion of their activities, identifying existing challenges, and providing practical assistance in addressing them.
The event was attended by representatives of the Central Bank, relevant ministries and agencies, commercial banks, and exporting companies. Entrepreneurs from the regions joined the dialogue through the Central Bank’s regional studios.
During the meeting, existing and new export financing mechanisms, as well as financial opportunities offered by banks, were discussed. Entrepreneurs’ concerns and proposals related to financing, banking services, and export activities were heard.
Relevant clarifications were provided on the issues raised, while requests and proposals requiring further consideration and solutions were taken under monitoring.
It was agreed to continue direct and systematic dialogue with exporting entrepreneurs on a regular basis and to further improve financial services and export financing mechanisms based on their needs.
