Objectives of the competition:
- to enhance students’ knowledge in the fields of economics and finance;
- to develop skills in analyzing macroeconomic processes and making monetary policy decisions;
- to improve financial literacy, communication skills, and teamwork abilities.
- The competition is open to undergraduate students in their 3rd and 4th years and master’s students majoring in economics and finance.
- Teams shall consist of 4–5 students and one academic advisor.
The competition consists of two stages:
- selection stage — preparation of an analytical presentation on the current economic conditions;
- final stage — conducting an analysis of monetary policy, making a well-founded decision on the policy rate, and presenting a press release.
- Winning teams will be awarded diplomas, cash prizes, and commemorative gifts.
- The main prize is 100 million Uzbek soums.
- In addition, winners will have the opportunity to undertake an internship at the Central Bank.
Detailed information on dates, participation requirements, and the application procedure will be additionally published on the official website of the Central Bank.

- January 12–16 — orientation
- February 9–13 — selection stage
- in March — final stage (the exact date will be announced additionally)
