Coin of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan
in denomination of 500 sum of specimen of 2011
The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued a commemorative coin in denomination of 500 so’m devoted to the twentieth anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Coin was made of steel, plated with nickel alloy of white colour.
On the obverse of the coin it is depicted the "Palace of International Symposiums" built in the center of the city Tashkent. At the bottom of the building the numeral "500" is - the denomination of the coin. Under the numeral threre is the word "so'm" written in printed Latin letters. The numerals and the word were made in the pressed form. Along the outer circumference of the coin an inscription "O'ZBEKISTON MUSTAQILLIGIGA 20 YIL" is written in printed Latin letters. The beginning and the end of the words are bounded by embossed dots.
On the reverse of the coin the Coat of the Arms of the Republic of Uzbekistan is painted, around which along the outer edge of the coin it is written "O'ZBEKISTON MARKAZIY BANKI" in printed Latin letters. Under the Coat of Arms, in the center, the year of issue of the coin "2011" is, bounded by two embossed dots. Along the outer circumference of the Coat of Arms there are embossed dots.
Side of the coin (drove) is smooth. The diameter of the coin is 25.0 mm, thickness - 1.6 mm, weight - 6,0 gr.
