As part of ongoing efforts to further develop the domestic foreign exchange market and expand banks’ capacity to conduct foreign exchange operations, trading on the currency exchange will continue until 5:00 p.m. starting from August 10, 2026.
The extension of the trading session will enable banks to manage foreign exchange liquidity more effectively throughout the day, execute client payments in a timely manner, and ensure the continuity of foreign currency settlements.
Based on the results of trading on the currency exchange, the official exchange rates of 74 foreign currencies against the Uzbek soum will be published on the official website of the Central Bank at 5:30 p.m. on each banking business day.
The official exchange rates will continue to be used in accordance with the established procedure for accounting, statistical and other reporting purposes, as well as for calculating customs duties and other mandatory payments.
The official exchange rates will be regularly published in the “Exchange Rates Archive” section of the Central Bank’s website.
