In accordance with Resolution No. 288 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 5 June 2026 and Resolution No. 66 dated 15 February 2023, the President Tech Award and President AI Award competitions are being held to support startups in technology and artificial intelligence. The total amount of grants and investments available across the two competitions is USD 6 million.
The President Tech Award is designed for startups in digital technologies. Its total grant and investment pool amounts to USD 5 million. The competition includes Incubation, Acceleration, and Best Startup Project tracks. The thematic areas include FinTech, Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise, Creative Industry & AdTech, GovTech, GameDev, EdTech, Logistics & Mobility, HealthTech, and DeepTech.
The President AI Award is intended for teams developing practical solutions powered by artificial intelligence. Its investment pool amounts to USD 1 million. Applications are accepted across five tracks: Government AI, Industry and Business AI, Healthcare and Medicine AI, Education AI, and Green Economy and Agrotech AI.
Eligibility requirements vary by competition and track. President AI Award teams must have 3–8 members and a working MVP or prototype. Requirements for the President Tech Award depend on the selected track and the project’s stage of development. Full eligibility criteria are available at awards.gov.uz.
