Within the framework of the Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum 2026, representatives of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Bank of Azerbaijan held a meeting.
The discussions focused on further strengthening cooperation between the two regulators, as well as promoting greater integration between the region’s financial and fintech ecosystems.
The parties exchanged views on their experience in developing and implementing national fintech strategies, building the infrastructure necessary to support financial innovation, developing venture financing mechanisms, and approaches to supporting fintech companies.
The parties expressed their readiness to continue cooperation aimed at developing a more integrated and innovative financial ecosystem across the region.
