From October 7 to 9, 2026, a delegation from the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic familiarized itself with the experience of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of digital transformation. The dialogues covered the selection and implementation of digital solutions, project and process management, as well as the use of digital technologies in control activities.
Central Bank specialists shared their experience in applying SupTech and RegTech solutions. During the conversations, along with the technological aspects of digital transformation, attention was paid to organizational and managerial issues related to its implementation.
During the discussions in the SupTech direction, the main focus was on selecting projects and determining the sequence of their implementation. The issues of providing the projects with the necessary resources were also considered. Thus, the conversations covered the stages from choosing a digital solution to its implementation in practice.
An exchange of views also took place regarding electronic licensing and the establishment of digital cooperation with subordinate organizations. These topics were discussed as part of a study of the Central Bank's experience in digital transformation.
Issues regarding the automation of internal and control processes were also at the center of the discussions. The meeting addressed issues of risk monitoring and monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements. Discussions in these areas focused on the practical aspects of using digital solutions in process management.
